All Stars Senior is a high school curriculum. It helps schools meet health education goals
by augmenting existing health education curricula. Textbooks
focus on knowledge. Senior focuses on improving students'
attitudes and behavior.
All Stars Senior includes a manual for
each of the three currently available content areas (additional content areas are currently under development).
The approach includes research-based strategies that are
fun, engaging, and effective. Topics addressed in All Stars Senior

All Stars Senior works by:
- Promoting the adoption of positive social norms
- Building commitment to avoid high-risk and unhealthy behaviors
- Developing skills to resist negative peer pressure
- Instilling a belief of personal susceptibility to consequences of risky behavior
- Developing effective goal setting skills
- Identifying personal ideals that are inconsistent with high-risk and health damaging behaviors
- Improving decision making skills
- Building skills for managing stress

Target Age Group and Implementation
Setting:
All Stars Senior is taught to high school students
(ages 14 to 18) during their regular health class, usually in the ninth grade. The program is
implemented by the health teacher. The program can be
delivered in community settings.
